Thank
you so much for your tremendous contribution to T3. You were an
absolute joy to work with.
Thank
you for doing such a great job, and doing it with such grace and
good cheer, and thank you for keeping the stunts safe and sensational-looking.
Your even-keeled personality helped keep the set calm and pleasant,
even in sometimes trying circumstances.
With endless thanks.

Mostow - Director Terminator 3
I worked with Steve Griffin in his capacity
as Stunt coordinator (Main Unit) on my newest film "Terminator
3". Steve was always thorough in his preparation and clear
in his instructions for any stunts to be undertaken. I always felt
totally safe in his care and valued his advice and judgement at
all times.
I highly recommend Steve as a Stunt coordinator. He has great vision
with attention to safety above all, and he has a natural calmness
whilst maintaining control of the task at hand. It was a pleasure
to work with him.

It
was so wonderful to see you at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards 2002.
Congratulations, Steve, on your history- making nomination for Outstanding
Stunt Coordination and on being the first member of the stunt community
to receive an Emmy Award. The enthusiasm shown by our piers in the
Television
Academy for this first-ever stunt Emmy was both thrilling and well-deserved.
We are so pleased you were able to be there and experience this
excitement. It will only grow more intense in the years to come.
As
ATAS Stunt Peer Group Governors, we are incredibly proud to represent
you, your excellence and your commitment to your craft and our community,
it is also our pleasure to invite you to join the Academy and becoming
a voting member of our Peer Group.

Steve
Griffin worked as Stunt Supervisor from May 2000 to January 2001
on the film 'TOMB RAIDER'. I found him to be remarkable at anticipating
my needs; he instinctively knew how to make things easier for me.
As I was put through my paces being blown from balconies, catapulted
on bungy, flown on wires, shot at and blown up among a variety of
other dangerous stunts whilst on 'TOMB RAIDER' at no time did I
feel worried, concerned or in danger in any way.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Steve to any future employer
and would be happy to give a verbal reference should that be required.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any further
information.
Angelina Jolie - 'Tomb Raider'
I
have been working together with Steve Griffin on the latest Steven
Spielberg production, 'Saving Private Ryan', currently filming
in England. The action includes explosions, gunfire,
tanks, fire, dramatic climbs, falls etc.
The number of actors involved can go as high as 1000 in a scene.
In order to shoot footage like this, it is absolutely crucial
that the stunt coordinator know exactly what he is doing, not
only to get the right effects but to keep the cast and crew out
of harms way. There are thirty stunt men on full hire here,
and Steve Griffin's assistance in coordinating their actions
has been invaluable.
I
am happy to have Mr Griffin on board this picture, and would gladly
work with him again. He is deservedly known as one of
the top stunt men around.
Tom Hanks - 'Saving Private Ryan'
Without
reservation, I can say that Mr Steve Griffin is an excellent Stunt
person. His sense of timing, knowledge of ground effects and
level of skill are on the highest level, as are his abilities to
co-ordinate the actions of other performers and foresee how
a stunt will appear on screen. His contributions to
this project have been remarkable.
Mr
Griffin deserves the excellent reputation he has earned in his field.
Steven
Spielberg - 'Saving Private Ryan'
It takes unique courage as well as prodigious
skill and timing to be at the wheel of a Russian Volga, pursued
by a 50 ton Russian T-54 tank traveling at speeds between 40 and
50 m.p.h. These qualities, in combination with the necessary repetitive
demands of filming, are the stuff of top stunt drivers. On
'Goldeneye', Steve Griffin displayed these, day after grueling
day, in abundance and often in the face of serious danger to his
own life. The entire Tank Chase on 'Goldeneye' was done
for real - not one frame of Green Screen - and never once did
I see Steve flinch from his duty, in performing with extraordinary
skill and panache, the most dangerous stunt driving sequence I have
made in 20 years of directing Action Movies.
He
has my highest recommendation.
Ian
Sharp - 2nd Unit/Action Director 'Goldeneye'
I
have known Steve Griffin since we worked together on James Bond 'Goldeneye'
in 1995 and now again on 'Tomorrow Never Dies', on both occasions
he has proven himself to be a driver and stuntman of the highest
order. His care and attention to detail is next to none...he is
a most valuable asset to any movie which strives for excellence.
Pierce
Brosnan - 'Tomorrow Never Dies'
He
is an extremely professional and talented performer, who never the
less, remains modest and unassuming in relation to his abilities
and I would unreservedly recommend him to anyone within the
industry whose scripts entail the very best in terms of action.

I
would like to give my support to Steve Street as a specialist driver
of ANY type of vehicle.
Steve
has worked for me on numerous occasions including most recently
'TOMORROW NEVER DIES' the latest James Bond movie. In this he had
to drive the largest and latest BMW at high speed through a multistory
garage, narrowly missing and not damaging the other vehicles parked
in here. All this was accomplished while Steve Street completely
hidden, and is only vision was by means of TV monitors placed
behind the front seat and as you can imagine, the depth perception
was negligible. It was only Steve's great skill and experience made
this possible to achieve.
Steve
Street is one of the best drivers I have had the fortune to come
across in this business. Please call me if any more information
is needed.
